To ensure international students staying on campus during the winter break experienced a warm and joyful Chinese New Year, the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering held a Spring Festival Tea Party on January 20, 2025. Faculty and students gathered to celebrate the Lunar New Year, exchange insights on traditional Chinese culture, and foster cross-cultural understanding in a lively atmosphere.

Dean Li Liqing extended New Year greetings to the students, conveyed heartfelt wishes to their families, and presented cultural gifts from the college. He emphasized hopes for a meaningful and enriching winter break. International students shared their academic and life experiences at JXUST, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to study in China and their aspirations to achieve academic success. Participants also exchanged stories about New Year traditions from their home countries, deepening mutual respect among diverse cultures.

Following the tea party, faculty led students on a tour of the college laboratories to prepare for upcoming experiments in the new semester. The event concluded with a festive dinner, allowing everyone to embrace the joyous spirit of the Spring Festival in advance.
